Is Reference Services, Inc. nationally accredited by the PBSA? What exactly does this mean?
Yes. We’re proud to say that we are one of the first companies in the U.S. to be accredited by the Professional Background Screening Association. Less than 25% of background screening firms have undergone the strenuous credentialing process successfully to obtain this prestigious credential. The process includes a rigorous audit of policies and procedures regarding consumer protection, legal compliance, product and service standards, client education, ethical business practices, and general operations. In fact, RSI has completed this process 3 times with the PBSA as required during the renewal process.

Do you have monthly minimums or annual fees?
No. At RSI, we would never exclude a client based on a lower volume of hiring needs. We care for clients of all sizes – ranging from those that run 15 reports per year, to those that run 100,000+ – and each receives the same commitment to customer care.
Do you require contracts or minimum monthly volume commitments?
NO and NO.
At RSI we don’t believe in requiring our client partners to sign contracts.
Our philosophy is simple – if we aren’t earning your business every day, we don’t deserve it. Our way of doing business may be a little different, but that’s because we are different. Our clients come first – every day and always.
